Sara Thom Photography offers the following types of sessions:
- Maternity
- Newborn Lifestyle
- Family
- Couples (engagement, anniversary or just because!)
- High School Senior’s
Where do we do this?
Most of my sessions take place at outdoor locations in the Northern Virginia area, with newborn sessions being the exception (usually done at the client’s home). Newborn sessions can certainly take place outdoors, though! I have a handful of locations that work great for sessions that I will suggest.
Digitals, Prints or Both?
With all my sessions you’ll receive high resolution edited images via digital download with a print release. You will also have the option to purchase print products directly from your online gallery, with prints produced from a national professional lab. My turn around time for your gallery is two-three weeks. **Please see below for some info on printing at non-professional labs.
Session Styling:
Choosing what to wear can be a stressful thing and I want to make it easy for you every step of the way! I can not emphasize enough how much your wardrobe will impact the outcome of your session. All clients of Sara Thom Photography will get access to my comprehensive styling guide as well as access to interactive, online personalized styling!
Once you’ve booked your session, you’ll fill out a questionnaire to being styling your session right from your couch all online. You want to look your best and I want you to feel you best! This clothing coordination and shopping tool is complimentary to all my clients.
New clients will also receive session prep guides filled with lots of tips for preparing for your session.
**A word about printing your images; I highly recommend printing your images via Mpix or a professional printing company (locally: Photo60). It is strongly discouraged to print your beautiful images at non-professional photo labs. For a better understanding as to why, check out this blog post from Amanda Jackson Photography.
So now that you have all the details, are you ready to book your session?
