My session fee is $250, which secures your session date and time, includes a comprehensive client guide that goes over how to prep for your session, as well as access to my complimentary styling service, time spent at the session itself (sessions usually last about an hour), and the selection and editing of your final images after the session. Your gallery will include a minimum of 50+ images for you to choose from and will be delivered to you within three weeks of your session.

I plan all my session an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset, unless you are booking an at-home newborn session (those are best to take place mid-morning). The ideal time is in the evening during what is called “golden hour.” The reason for this is that yummy golden light that you get just before the sun goes down. It allows for the beautiful lighting that is signature to my work! That being said, I am not able honor requests for sessions outside these times.
I know sometimes parents of young children worry about their child being up past bedtimes and worry if they’ll be cooperative, but I find that most are not affected by a one-off late evening.
I’ll get in touch a couple of days before the shoot (after consulting the weather forecast) and if it looks like rain we will work together to reschedule your session for another date. I do like to wait as long as we possibly can to make the call though, as Virginia weather can certainly surprise us sometimes!
Yes, yes, yes!! I’m a shopper at heart so I love assisting my clients with their outfit choices. I've been doing this for quite some time and I know what colors/patterns and textures photograph well, so I'm happy to make suggestions. I also provide complimentary access to online styling assistance with all of my sessions! Just come with an open mind and I know we'll find outfits for the entire family that everyone will love!
Sessions take place on-location at various spots that I have scouted out in the Northern Virginia area. Because I shoot at these locations often, I am familiar with how the light falls in certain areas and what areas to avoid. That said, if you have a location that is special to you that you want to shoot at, please let me know and we can discuss!
